Here’s a real old track I made about 4 or 5 years ago. I went by the alias of Qenetic Storm back then. This was when my music was completely sample-based. Yup, no synthesizer sounds, just filtered and manipulated pieces of samples from old vinyl records. I usually play this track at authentic hip-hop shows. It has that raw and grimy feel to it. Enjoy.

I was listening to my iTunes in DJ mode a few weeks ago and A Fine Frenzy‘s, ‘Almost Lover’ song popped up. It definitely took me back to a moment in my life some years ago where things between her and I should’ve worked out but didn’t. Well, I’m not gonna bore you with details, so go ahead and enjoy the instrumental. It’s very simple, and very short. The ending is short and abrupt, because that’s the feeling you get when when someone disappears and your emotions are left hanging in confusion.

This is about the most “poppish” track that I’ve done to date, and I love it! For the past week I’ve been riding around downtown at night testing peoples reaction as I drive by slowly. It’s funny seeing people walk in a certain direction, then all of a sudden, stop and act like their lost after hearing the BEP track blasting loudly. I remember a few days ago, a small crowd of people started dancing at a crosswalk. Lol! Goodtimes! This makes me love what I do, and fuels my passion to keep doing it. I’ve never remixed a whole acapella of a song before, so I’m quite the virgin. I’m liking how it turned out, and I might produce more remixes like this in the future. Crew54 are two dope emcees based out of Killeen, Texas and they recently released “Impala Music”. I took the liberty of lacing the vocals with my own made-from-scratch custom-fitted beat. This is a song that you don’t play at low levels. You gotta max out the volume and go deaf with this ear damaging song. Party people, go ahead and eat this up…. DJs, go ahead spin this in the club. Yup yupppers!
